What You’llDo
You’ll be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. Bring your understanding of the latest industry trends and content management systems.You’ll meet with team members and the client to discuss website design and function. You’ll design new features and functionality for the website and create the website’s architecture.
During a Typical Day, You’ll
- Design and manage the website back-end including database and server integration
- Ensure high-performance and availability and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
- Help formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin
- Conduct website performance tests and monitor the performance of the live website
- Troubleshoot PHP version and WordPress core version impact on plugins and theme
- Troubleshoot content issues
- Conduct WordPress training with the client
What You Bring to the Role
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer and working with Theme Builder Plugins such as WP Bakery (Visual Composer, Divi ect.) with project management abilities
- Excellent understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
- Proficiency in debugging tools like Firebug and Chrome inspector
- Ability to convert wireframes into HTML pages and maintain consistent style across platforms
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development and RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)

- Annual base salary range of 526,000-701,000php depending on experience
