Veterans Day is here and we celebrate the triumph that the US Veterans had achieved dating back to the First World War. My previous write up featured the inspiring story of Jason, a Veteran who is currently working at Teletech in Greeley, Colorado. This time, we head to Uniontown where a couple of Veterans shared their stories both as a part of the military and as an employee at TeleTech.

Life-Long Learning

I've been called by others an 'expert in'... online recruitment, digital advertising, social media... and more... but I do not believe that there is such a thing as a fully developed 'expert.'  In today's ever-evolving digital world, there are only those that happen to have been exposed to more than others in that particular field.  We build knowledge, wisdom, experience through life-long learning.  I prefer to call myself a 'perpetual student.'  As it implies, I believe I am only as good as my knowledge and skills are today.  Things might change tomorrow...  or maybe even better... things WILL change tomorrow.  It's not that I feel that I have to keep up with the Joneses.  Learning is just a way of life for me.  I am inquisitive.  I like learning new things.  I like exploring new technologies.  I believe that if you are the one to see a problem, rather than complain about it, you should be a part of the solution.  I know that everyone and every experience I encounter has something to teach me.
