I’m guilty of being an internet junkie. I belong to a generation driven by information readily available on the world wide web and anything is easily accessible as long there’s a stable internet connection. I have read more articles, researches, and headlines online more than I have ever done on print media and if you are reading this blog, you have to agree with me that the internet is a big part of mankind today. We use it to get the latest news, exchange ideas, reconnect with people, find a job and the list goes on. But do you know how to be safe on the internet and use it with protection for your own identity and information?
Since matriculating more than five years ago, I have experienced a lot of grueling interview procedures as part of the hiring process of companies. In order to secure a job, every job seeker has to go through the task of interviewing. Employers usually have standard questions that test the skill level of an applicant as well as questions which can determine if a job seeker is well-suited for the job. I have found that being prepared for some of the difficult, and often-asked questions makes the entire process a bit easier.

Job hunting can be an arduous task. With the right tools you can conquer it. One of the best tactics to employe is networking for job search. Remember, employers love to hire referrals. Ask any employer and they will say that referrals are their best resource. Why is that? Its because there is an implication that the person that works for their company already is someone that they'd like to emulate. Networking increased your chances of being that next referral. Networking involves widening your contacts to increase the chances of finding the right job. Extend your contact and connect to the right people and you may you land your dream job bringing your current job search to a successful conclusion.

One of the most frequently asked question on our Philippines Facebook page that I encounter, is what to wear on an interview at TeleTech. Well, as the saying goes "First impressions always last." It is especially true in the interview. Contrary to the usual belief, good personality, witty answers, outstanding academic records and work history are not the only factors that contribute in impressing your potential employer. The core foundation of a successful interview is showing your interviewer that you have what it takes to be a part of their company or industry. Before you gain their attention, you have to be able to make a statement. And that is showing them that you are not only professional in the inside but as well as the outside. According to psychologists, you have just a fraction of a second to make that first impression.

"Work and Play!" and "Work Hard, Party Harder!" are two famous lines I hear from my bosses and co employees whenever we get to have a gathering or an activity commenced by the company. Such activities can be in the form of sports festivals, outings, night parties, or even health and wellness initiatives. Whatever activities they initiate, the point is, these kinds of activities create balance to the lives of employees in a company which then leads to a healthy working environment.
